It's my birthday on Sunday, but we're going to be celebrating it tomorrow at the Summertime Brews Festival here in NC.

Unibroue looks good, a strong beer brewed in Montreal. I love the US, but everyone knows that we can't brew a beer worth a fuck.

The festival was in a baseball stadium. All the vendors had stands in the consession area. It was packed!

They actually were giving people glasses (made of glass) as they came into the festival, to use for the day. They were only about 8oz or so.

You can see the size of it in my hand here.

I bought one of these glass holders that I wore around my neck.

They were so small, you were done the beer and had to get in another line a few moments later, but I found a way around that. I bought a pint glass!

No, but this guy was pretty fucked up. Him and his friend thought it would be funny to run across the baseball field. Everyone was cheering while the one dude slid into home plate repeatedly, while his friend was running around the outfield, with security guards chasing after him.

It didn't take long for the police to get involved.

I don't know what happened to the one guy, but he was led away by mr. policeman.

As the evening progressed, you'd hear a pop of someone dropping their glass on the concrete, followed by everyone cheering. It was pretty funny. As the evening went on, you'd hear the cheers more frequently.

Here's one that happened right in front of us.

That one dude in the blue shirt is looking at it like 'Is anyone going to clean that up?'
