ONLY being the keyword. There is no mention of a plane and therefore that CAN NOT be part of the solution.

Climb out of the box, darling. There is a cabin in a plane. If the plane crashed in the woods, the three could have been found in the cabin.

Using ONLY what's said, I deduced such. The mind initially sees a "cabin" in the logcabin sort of sense, but he didn't say "logcabin" he said "cabin" which could easily mean both. Thus my answer is correct.

A cab driver is going up a one way hill, which you can only go down. A policeman is sitting in his car and can see the cabdriver, so why doesn't he get out and arrest him?

Thank you. Explained that well. I used the word "only" to keep people off of "they froze to death" or "avalance"....maybe it would have been better if I said 'the answer is provided within the riddle'

Hmmm....what comes to my mind is the cabbie driving in the correct direction, but going up the hill before he can drive down it.
