do a search on download.com for "find and replace" there's a prog with that name and does the trick

HanyFile Find and Replace (http://www.freedownloadscenter.com/U...d_Replace.html) - simple and easy, it used to be freeware, now you have to pay for it

you are probably best off having someone write a quick perl script for you, downloading and uploading bunch of files is not a very efficient use of your time...
