I don't but if you find one let me know... My best friend Fro was just asking me for suggestions yesterday. I know you can get a Yahoo! store but I don't know if it's that functional.

for those who dont know.....here is how you sell anything on the net.
#1 you need a merchant account...this is different from a processor or virtual terminal. The merchant account is what enables you to accept credit cards and thats it....some have virtual terminals avail.....but usually they're separate. The merchant acct. is what will make direct deposits into your corporate account every 24 hrs. Getting this account is a lot of paperwork....but worth it. #2 Once you have this account...you are now ready to get a processor.....choose a processor that meets all foreseeable needs....ie: rebilling...trials w/ rebilling......you want it to be customizeble..for porn...for product...or whatever. #3 you want your processor to easily integrate with affiliate programs. dont cut corners here....anyone can have an affiliate program.....but the cut and paste ones suck. pay some cash for a real program...dont settle for ipece o shit hit counters...we all want referring url's and detailed stats so dont shoot yourself in the foot with these pre-made programs. the merchant acct takes 3 or 4% of trans. the terminal takes like 30 cents a trans plus a monthly fee...mine is under 10 dollars a month. that simple...and please flame me for pointing out the obvious....I love abuse |

I guess you can sell physical products through Ibill as well but they charge $15 per charge back which is somewhat high IMO if you're selling physical products since people tend to return items. |

After going through 4 pages and three days of debating what was the best credit card processor, we came up with these three that suit our needs the best.
If you have A1, Super, Top Notch, Flawless credit, then by all means go get a merchant account. If not... use one of the ones below!

dont mean to offend anyone.........but you make you money...why give a cut to ccbill??? am I retarded? shit...if you are going to sell product fuck giving ccbill or whoever a HUGE cut. you should not pay more that 6% total of sales.
you want to sell porn? well pay the grand to set it up...pay 299.00 a year for a "high risk account" and you'll be happy you did. these turn-key systems such as ccbill or ibill seem like a good deal but in the long run you get hosed. they pray on convenience and handle some risk for you...but you can handle all this shit yourself.....and newsflash....most good affiliate program software will integrate into quickbooks...so you can pay on time every time. This isnt rocket science......you should build your business as if you were the the biggest player there is....and trust me use ccbill or anyone who takes over 10% of you trans...you'll wish you didn't. Flame me please....im a newbie |

Florida Kid, you might be a newbie but you are a smart one.
The only thing is, THE MERCHANT ACCOUNT. If I'm not mistaken the percentage goes up on one for most of us with marginal credit, and that's IF we are approved still. I know I have been making a great deal of money for a few years outside of porn, but my personal credit still isn't good enough for a merchant account! Go figure! Thank god for the LLC corp! Amp, do you ever sleep or do you just like watching the Guthy Renker Presents Infomercials like me?

true...but selling product is relatively easy.....once you prove yourself at that.....your merchant bank is far more likely to assume the risk of adult accounts...some will even *withold* like 7 % of your earnings until it accumulates enough to handle that risk (risk of fraud..poor customer servixe..etc)
Here is the #1 rule of having a merchant account: Make sure that not a single one of your customers ever contacts their credit card about you. I mean always respond to their emails phone calls, etc. even if you are telling them they are screwed and you wont refund their money. At least they'll know and as long as you give them good reason, have good TOS you wont have problems. THE WORST thing that can happen to you is your customer contacts visa, mc or whoever...then you are fucked....as long as you run your business honestly...even if you are honestly screwing people out of money...you'll be fine. go to a turn key provider and if any of the above happens....you'll still lose your account, but pay a much higher processing fee...so worst case scenario...you are still better off getting your account, handling your own affilaite checks....its not that hard. |

GTFOH
(thats short for, GET THE FUCK OUTTA HERE!) Bad credit but still got a merchant account! Lucky you, and the witholding was only $7,500! I wish Citi-Bank & Chase were so generous. Unfortunately my bad credit stemmed from a $75,000 AMEX expense account that a record company stiffed me for! (You are personally liable for expenses at most of the major record labels) Record Biz + unpaid expense = CREDIT RISK!

sorry to keep posting....im new to the board but not the biz...and in short here is what happened to me and this is why im glad I had all my ducks in a row from the start.
Having quality cc processing gives the appearance of an established business. You should do, act, pretend or whatever that you are an established business....including but not limited to getting a 1800# I did all this for under 3 grand..merchant acct, website, 800#, s-corp, etc. Guess what happened and it was very lucky it did....we somehow got a national interest and our product is now sold in many different places.....we have 600 prime time tv commercials in production and set to run in april and the cost associated with this does not come out of my pocket....we have a publicly traded corp that is making 60 second infomercials about our product...all we do is sell them our product wholesale. we get great brand recognition for notihng. Point is...if we didnt look like a reputable business to begin with...these people would have never approached us to cut this deal.....600 60 sec prime time national tv commercials is not a bad deal for free. So, in short...never cut corners.....I cut deals all the time with people...little do they know its a 23 yr old kid sitting in his underwear with a cup of coffee and a smoke, somewhat stoned. |

Thats hot! Congrats on the infomercial deal!
I didn't have my "ducks in a row" until I got my corp. Things are easier now of course but when I tried it as a person with a DBA (which most new paysite owners come in with) it just wasn't happening for me! If you can send me an Icq and tell me what kind of product you sell. You don't have to tell me the brand if you don't want to.

Globill is a top CC processor ![]() Your main hassle is going to be order fullfilment, that's where the pain in the ass and the expenses will be, especially returns and stuff.
