This is absolutely absurd, the bill is beyond needing to be paid. Multiple revisions all based on the client's direction and every excuse in the book to NOT pay a $550 bill. If the bill ever gets paid I would be shocked. With the monies going to charity who would even have to think twice. LOL Rediculous.

Cool, so if you go to a deisgner, tell them that you willpay $1000 for a paysite design, they use MS Paint to do the 'design' wrk, you'll pay them? No matter what?

I beleive you posted that i said '3 is the one we like', 'I think once thats done we're good to go on the splash page', 'other than that i think we are done', 'one thing that does need to be changed is the mustard color in the main header now other that its perfect' (the mustard color, incidently, is still there :1orglaugh), 'then its just making a button and banner for recips and we;re done'.

Nowehere in those emails that you posted to i say anything about the site being 'perfect and done'.

I do on seperate lines / emails but never in any one email.

Most designers ask for half up front. I'm surprised BDS operates any differently. And yes, you pay them, try to get the revisions you want, if they can't cut it, then start a nasty thread on GFY about the company. But yea, if you make the decision to go with a design company, that's a contract. Yes, you pay it no matter what. If they're not up to par, that's your fault. You went with the wrong company. Doesn't alleviate you of your need to pay for the service provided.

$550 is nothing if your business is doing so well. 131 votes to your 10. cut your losses, admit the mistake and move on. BDS isn't exactly asking for cash to be sent to them, they want it to goto charity, which would be a tax writeoff for you or your company. i dont think you are a very good businessman, lee.
