Before we get into way too much bashing: you need to define religion - any specific system of belief, worship, or conduct that prescribes certain responses to the existence (or non-existence) and character of a God or superior power
religion boils down to a belief system or "faith" - and if you believe there is no god and that when you are dead you are dead you are of one of the many belief systems - the religion called Atheism - there are others that reserve judgement on making that call like Agnostics. Everyone has a religion whether you want one or not - by definition a religion is just your beliefs - and therefore if you have any beliefs - in this case that God does not exist, then you are of one type of religion Fortunately when we were "built" or "created" or however your belief system tells you exist, you were given a brain to ask questions like that - unfortunately we definitely have a lot of people in this world that let others make those decisions for them and they have become the major religions. There still is within each human being the ability to create your own religion (or faith) and believe in what you like - seems about 300 years ago a few that were persecuted for believing in their faith system had to move to a new continent (the US) to practice those beliefs - but of course now those same people are persecuting other belief systems and have or are still trying to wipe out the other belief systems so that theirs becomes the dominant. |

wtf are you talking about "morals and society are built upon survival"? if this was the case we would only have to eat and sleep, wtf does society have to do with survival? animals do not have any clear morals and they survive. you are stupid. |
You guys really like to whine about this stuff? :(

Hehe you are just full of twice the hatred a normal religion causes :) Anyway Religion has also made a lot of people happy and when you come to think of it, most religions has in the past created law and order. The Ten demands is some general good rules a lot of people would see as universal. How can we make people believe in this`? Making a God say these words is a convinient way to make people believe in what they're are told.... So making people believe in God and thereby his words is not a bad thing! You are extremely narrowminded but I will give you that there are no God |
I believe in Snuffalufagus!
The '10-commandments' or the 'word of god' were merely social standards to help society by giving it direction or structure. Some peeps decided to go all Wacko on the definition. |

Hahaha your posts are so funny :) I think at it the same way.......................... BUT what is so terrible about getting scammed your hole life, fact is you have no idea if you are getting scammed..... The obvious is not always right answer. Try to explain Eternety to me please Try to explain how it was here before nothing was here and how it was before then and how it started and what was before that. God damnmit we are small indifferent things in a universe never created, We will never learn to explain that and as long as we can't cope with a simple thing as that I don't think you should rule out anything! |
LOL you are nuts!

You may be confused by what little you know that refers to re-incarnation, however it's interesting to me that there is research on electric eels, that isn't even recent, that shows that memory is stored in part as an energy field that can survive death of the individual and be transfered to another individual. In any case.... may I ask if you have fixed ALL of your opinions on every subject? Or do you have any ability to progress in your life. Prehaps you know that you have the final answers on all subjects? If that is the case, I would love to hear everything you have to say, you must be the most remarkable mind in the history of the planet! :) |

First of all I dont think anyone said anything about Not enjoying life to the fullest. Secondly expanding your knowledge base on almost any subject is bound to enrich your life; your point here makes no sense. If you are going to feel sorry for someone I'd look in the mirror, your declaring fact about something that CAN NOT be proved Screams ignorance |

okay so hindus do believe that what you do in this life affects a next life? a cyclical nature? you mean many lives, just say it. if you are so sure, it seems you wouldnt feel the need to dodge simple questions about your religion. hindus believe there is more than one life. why won't you just say that? |
war is evil

You weren't asking simple questions....they aren't that simple. As for Karma afecting your life and future. Yes. Hinduism does recognise it. Why won't you tell me who is leading me and telling me what to do? If you knew anything about what you are talking about , ie Wicca and Hinduism, you would realize that you are making an idiot of yourself here. It seems that you 1. Are ranting about a subject of which you know very little, (except maybe a little about christianity, which doesn't have anything to do with me). 2. Are someone that will have no growth in their life and feels that they know everything from where they stand. Good luck to you.... I have a feeling you'll need it! |

Why do you pitty the people believing in God and why is it important for you to break them? Is it unfair they have a better life than you pretty girl? Funny arguing against this just because your stupid, I don't believe in God at all but you are telling me what is right and more important what isn't when you don't know crap about it. |
