Yeah all the time. When I call to bitch about the kids being bad or just random stuff she immediately says "You need a vacation... you need to come home for a little while" because she hates me being so far away... And she will ask me every day what we're eating for dinner and criticize if it's "too expensive" or isn't the right diet... OY VEY! lol

So, yes. She still treats me like a kid. lol

Constantly. I called another driver a "dickhead" while my Mom was riding with me. She actually called me by my full name. Heh, nothing more degrading than being 30 years old and having your mother scold you for swearing.

At the same time, she still does a lot of stuff for me... so I can't complain much. I'm sort of in between adult/provider/child to my mom. It's on a case by case basis I guess.

I love my mom... She's really important to me... She treats me like a kid only when she worries about me, other than that she knows I am an adult and have made the best I can out of my life..

The tattoos on my hands are for my mother.

Everyone who knows me knows how serious I am about my mother.. That's why you'll never hear me clown on mothers, and I take it serious when someone clowns on mine.. usually someone gets one pass.. then I explain a bit about why I get upset, and they usually never bring her up unless it's in a good way.

same here... she keeps on bugging me to text her if I already arrive in our office so she wouldn't be worried.. and scolds me if I forget to do it.. she keeps on texting me every once in awhile to check on me.. nags me when i don't get some work done.. My mom doesn't know what I do. It was driving her crazy once and she wouldn't leave me alone, so I jokingly told her I work for the CIA and couldn't say anymore. She believed me.

Then, a couple weeks back when we had a couple mudslides she emailed me to make sure I was ok. I responded, jokingly again, that my house slid into a ditch and I was emailing her from Starbucks. Five minutes later she calls me to make sure I'm ok.

My grandma is very similar. She ALWAYS asks me if I need money, always. Grandma, your grandson is doing fine on his own!
