My mom still tells me to eat and wear a jacket or whatever like I'm still a kid.

Yeah all the time. When I call to bitch about the kids being bad or just random stuff she immediately says "You need a vacation... you need to come home for a little while" because she hates me being so far away... And she will ask me every day what we're eating for dinner and criticize if it's "too expensive" or isn't the right diet... OY VEY! lol

Constantly. I called another driver a "dickhead" while my Mom was riding with me. She actually called me by my full name. Heh, nothing more degrading than being 30 years old and having your mother scold you for swearing.

Yes, I constantly remind her "I'm 25 years old!"
At the same time, she still does a lot of stuff for me... so I can't complain much. I'm sort of in between adult/provider/child to my mom. It's on a case by case basis I guess. mommy <333 |

I love my mom... She's really important to me... She treats me like a kid only when she worries about me, other than that she knows I am an adult and have made the best I can out of my life..

That's why you'll never hear me clown on mothers, and I take it serious when someone clowns on mine.. usually someone gets one pass.. then I explain a bit about why I get upset, and they usually never bring her up unless it's in a good way. |
My mom has always been like that, every time she calls she asks to make sure I'm eating well, etc. etc... Its annoying as hell to be honest.
