I don't usually even get involved in these debates. So many people on this board REALLY need to take reading and comprehension classes. So many others need to take "having a meaningful debate without being an insulting asshole" classes. Oh well....such is GFY :upsidedow

and I live in CA, your point? and why do you think it is that they cancel your policy if you don't pay? did it ever occur to you that people turn their policies on and off as they need them?

if they did not have policies like that in effect I am sure your rates would be much higher due to the abuse that would follow

I do not know how you can blame it on the state or federal government for the rates.

many times insurance rates can be higher in different states because of differing laws regarding lawsuits for malpractice, etc...
