I saw it.
It got *terrible* reviews... But I thought it was decent. You just need to be in the right state of mind... it's a movie based on a comic book for chrissakes! plus, the chick is hot.

it looks ok, probably won't see it 'til it's out on DVD.
out of all the comic book movies the last few years, I think The Punisher was by far the best; fuckin badass movie! Although i still have yet to see Batman Begins, I heard that was pretty good.

As far as comic book movies go, it's about on par with DareDevil, if that tells you anything. Seems like there wasn't even really a villian up until the last 20 minutes or so. Terrible acting. Pretty shitty casting for some of the characters. There are far better movies in the theater right now that I would recommend over this. Only reason I seen it is because I went to see Land of the Dead, but the theater wasn't playing it anymore, so I went to this instead.
Also I thought I heard someone say this cost $150 million to make or something.... If that is the case I don't see where the money went. There were only a few cool special effects scenes, and none of them really jumped out at you. |

It was decent. Not anywhere near as well done or entertaining as X-Men or the new Batman, but still a fun summer flick.
