Creating a flatscreen RSS Billboard - HOW TO?
GFY,
I wish to turn a flatscreen monitor into an outside broadcast billboard. It is a small screen but i wish to convert it into a slow scrolling message broadcaster. The idea I'm thinking of is similar to one of those slow scrolling LED belts ( http://www.nycscrolls.com/ ) One of the Windows screensavers has a customizable text scroll, but I'm looking at incorporating an RSS feed into it. Any suggestions? |

Full screen flash swif dynamically pulling the RSS content and manipulating the text however you want?
or A page on auto refresh that grabs a new RSS feed and uses the marquee tag. or A java applet doing pretty much what the flash swif above would do. *shrug*
