I gotta go there for a wedding this weekend, in downtown St. Pete. What's some of the better hotels to stay at. High-speed internet is a must, pool would be a bonus too. Maybe even some cool bars to go to.

Also, where's some good places to go for a Bachelor party in that area?

I'm in Feathersound in Clearwater. Go across the street and I'm in St. Pete. I suggest the Vinoy Hotel. It's extremely nice. I stay there a lot. I can get you into a presidential suite for a good price. Contact me on aim: xchristopherj.

Not the biggest (it's actually quite small) but definetly one of the most popular. Girls are pretty much all A+ but have an F- personality.

For hotels, the Vinoy and Tradewinds are good choices in St. Pete.

As for the bachelor party... depends on how far you're willing to drive/cab it. The Hard Rock will be at least 30-40 minutes by cab from St. Pete Beach. Ybor in Tampa will be about 30 minutes. There are some clubs near the beach and up near Ulmerton Rd. where you'd only need a 5-10 min cab ride.
