What more would you like Bush and the US to do? Every time they create new policy that rips apart our rights as individuals, you bitch, and I understand that. But then every time something horrible happens in the world you bitch and blame Bush because "oh my God! He's leading the war on terror, he should know everything!"

I have a better idea. Let's remove all doubt and fund all non-US soil terrorist attacks. Hell, let's fund the US-based terrorist attacks too, we might as well get in on all the fun!

I have already addressed this issue in another thread and will do so here.

I honestly do believe it was a tactic used by al qaeda, one that helps to discredit the US and the Bush administration fell for it.

So no matter what happens now, we the US get blamed whether it's for action or inaction.

It's kind of like when dealing with children Sly. When they do something wrong and you go off and rant they don't recall what they did wrong, they only recall that you were being "mean" to them. The focus is now on your behavior instead of theirs.

This attack wouldn't have happened if it weren't for the US and British invasions of Iraq and Afghanistan. How are they not accountable at all? Who is to blame? Why do you think terrorist attacks happen, because people hate freedom?

I don't think the war in Iraq was an appropriate response for 9/11.

but the war in Iraq was an appropriate decision because a dictator has been removed and many Iraqis are thankful for that today. It did cause the death of soldiers and civilians but that's the price you pay for making the majority happy eventually.

a war on Iran will be appropriate because their leadership calls for eradiating the united states and israel and because they support terorrists by funding and weapons.

A war on afghanistan was appropriate because the Taliban needed to be removed as well as the terrorist facilities there.
It also gave the afghan people a chance to slowly move forward to civilized and democratic way of life.
