Here we go again -- Hurricane season!!

Just when we have our city back together. Here comes another BIG hurricane. There have been 4 names storms so far and 2 of them have directly hit us already, and this last one, Dennis, is heading straight for us.

Here is the path it's on.

These months of hurricane season makes me always consider moving from the ocean. I had a good time in Toronto a few weeks ago, but not sure if I could handle the cold winters.

Any other suggestions on where to go?

This new Hurricane, Dennis, is supposed to be a stront category 3 or 4. That last cat 4 that hit us last year, Ivan, took out power from most of the city for almost 2 or 3 months.

We still only have about 30% of the beach that is accessible.

People in that area of America laugh at us in the UK because of our weather but fuck it we have had one hurricane in the last 20 years and that was nothing more than a bit of wind that blew over the Queens roses.

I am right on the gulf of mexico here in Clearwater,Fl . But i would rather have hurricanes rather then torandos or earthquakes. With hurricanes atleast you have time to prepare for it....

At least with a hurricane you have time to prepare and leave. Earthquakes scare me because you don't really know when to expect them.

They predict even more named storms this year than last. Hurricane Dennis went from 80 to 105 Mph over night.

I'm hauling ass for this one. I had a good time in Toronto. A great group of people live up there, so I might go up there this weekend, plus I heard there is some good fishing up that way. I might go up there and give Tanker a hardtime since he's back from his honeymoon now as well.

Yep. It's projected to pinpoint my front yard. It's too early in the season for this shit. We're still recovering from Ivan too.
