I don't know about melatonin but I agree that you should go back to doing stuff on the daytime so you can rest at night. Nothing beats a good night's sleep.

Melatonin is good and not addictive. But if you are your own boss you can have odd sleep patterns.. just my 2 cents

if you go to the gym during the day and exercise really well by 10pm you'll start falling asleep already

I used to stay up to 4-5 pm every morning for more than a year, last month I decided to change back to normal hours, and didn't have any problems doing it

I get insomnia every six months or so (usually when I'm stressed or over tired) Here's what worked for me in the past:

-Work out a minimum or 45 minutes early in the morning
-Eat mostly protein and veggies for dinner
-Take a hot bath 30 minutes before going to bed
-put 2 drops of lavender (essential oil on my pillow)
-put some relaxing music as I read until my eyes can't stay open

Might sound tacky, but it works every time!

Good luck!

I also have had problems sleeping for the past 1 year and still do, it really feels crapy.

But i will seriously take some of those tips into my book. I have been without a bath tub for hmm about 1 year so im thinking this may be the effect, but it could also be other things like stress and problems.
