KB, it's hardly MY responsibility to clarify YOUR position when YOU'RE the one feeding peoples' perceptions of reality. I have absolutely nothing to say about your family's legal issues and will not (nor have I ever) defended either side. I'm not in a position to judge as I don't have all the facts... nor do I have a law degree. I also didn't come to AVN Online to defend it; I came here because I saw a bunch of stuff that could be improved upon.

AS I said, I designed this job. In my opinion AVN were wrong to remain silent when discussed in public forums. That gives the impression that they are not listening to their audience. It is certainly not my primary function to post on boards, but I consider it a valuable addition to our efforts that I do. (as do they)

Communicating with AVN Online's audience IS the primary function of my job, therefore I consider it very valuable to post relevent news that AVN Online has available when it's available. That's just good PR.

Another Woman Sues AVN

Judy Sweeney vs AVN Publications Inc, et al., LASC Case No. BC 334720

Who's Judy Sweeney? She was the assistant to Darren Roberts, AVN CEO.

Judy was five months pregnant when she was fired from AVN.

It turns out that she's suing AVN for the same thing that Jennifer Rosenblatt did.

Judy has retained Carol Gillam, who was Jennifer's attorney. Carol has been spending a ton of time on Judy's case. She thinks it is a winner.

Gillam's out of town and was not available for comment when I phoned her office.

Kimmy Kim responds:

No one I know of likes the way that Jen's situation occurred, and while it certainly does suck, you running off at the mouth to other AVN employees, particularly ones that weren't even there when this happened, is really starting to be a dead horse with all the fleshed flayed away. AVN didn't turn into the big bad monster when they fired Jen, Lord knows the place was full of chaos and decay for a long time before that. But all the sudden the anti-AVN, anti-Farley, anti-Aly parade marches on nearly daily for you.

Given the fact that the last I heard Farley's mother was touch and go, and that he's not even in the office at the moment, your rants are in poor taste at best, and it's not like Farley's going to respond to them under the circumstances anyway. Your animosity towards Aly is fairly beat to death as well, especially given as close as you guys were for so long. Her taking a job doesn't make her an enemy, unless YOU choose to see it that way. I'd bet that the job wasn't quite what the description said it would be at this point either.
