My stupid fucking niece just joined the military
She's in her 3rd week of basic training and my mom just called to tell me about it. The recruiter told her she could get money for beauty school!!
 How can she be so stupid? I mean doesn't she remember how stupid I was when I did the same thing. Why can't she see how stupid it was for me to join the army after I saw how stupid my father was for joining? Her mom is in the reserves; doesn't she remeber how many times she thought her mom was stupid? Military stupidity is fucking genetic!!!!!!!!!!!! Hope she doesn't go to the middle east.  |

I am glad other people still join the military. But I would never recommend any young person I care about to join. After all it is a dangerous, poor-paying job, especially in wartime, however honorable the service. It is really a disgrace how little money they get paid and how little benefits they get even if they are wounded or killed. Good luck to your niece.
