VX2100 - Fuck you Sony!
So I bought my Sony VX2100 six months ago for $2300. Today they are $1300. So, here's a big
 to Sony! Thank god I've had some exceptional models in the last six months or I'd really be a whinny bitch.

2000 doesn't have enough space between the handle grip and the body. The 2100 has the toggle and start/stop button on the handle too. Might be a better chip also... not sure on that.

Tat I paid the same six months ago for my VX2100. Can't complain, I got a LOT of good use out of it. Newer and better video and still cameras are coming out faster every year.

My first one costed $3200 new, I just picked up a second one from a friend for $1500 and it is almost new, only had about 12 or so hours on it.
 Do you guys capture off them? If you do, you should stop and get a cheap mini dv cam to capture from. Saves on the very expensive heads and wear and tear of the 2100. |

We still have a VX 2000, and are thinking of getting the 2100. $1300 is a blackmarket price or something... you can't get them legit for that cheap.
