I always take the first spot I see... but I only wait if I see someone physically backing out of the spot or their reverse lights are on, otherwise I keep driving and take the next spot. Half of Americans are so fucking fat and all they worry about is the closest spot to the door... maybe try walking a few extra steps??? I'd rather get the excercise myself!

Today at the post office this car sat there and waited for a spot backing up traffic into the street... meanwhile he could have driven around and parked on the opposite side (extra 15 seconds of driving) and had to only walk an extra 10 feet.

I don't get it. Why does it bother you that someone is waiting for you to pull out so they can pull in?
