Park a twentyfive thousand dollar bike on the curb... yeah right, what the fuck are you smoking?

is it a bike or a motorcycle? 3 of my friends drive bikes, 90% of the time they park it on the curb, our laws here are not strict on that at all.

why should you park on the curb or even to the side?

because your bike is fucking small as hell and can fit anywhere, on several occasions i have had a bike pull right up on the line next to me in the same parking stall and i did not care, they are at least using their brain that they have a small vehicle and can park it wherever they choose.

this bike does not park on a fuckin curb, whether you like it or not. In the USA we are entitled to the full width of the road and the full space of a parking spot, just like a car is entitled to/

http://www.cruiserperformance.com/im...TX_1800C_3.jpg

And we are NOT able to "park wherever we choose" here. I've seen people's bikes get towed for not parking in a designated space.

If it really bothers you, then help us bikers out and convince more businesses to make designated motorcycle parking. Trust me we would rather park there anyway. Otherwise, we are using the car spaces so we dont get our shit towed away.

Metaboy, when people talk about "bikers", do you think they mean a bunch of guys riding around on bicycles? :1orglaugh

Bike = motorcycle

ok, fair enough

where I come from though, when a kid says bike, we think bicycle
when a man says bike, we think motorcycle

the term 'hog' is usually reserved for a harley davidson

Ask Baddoggy what he thinks. Me, I rode for many years back when crotch rockets were barely considered "bikes" at all. Bikers rode Harleys, and they still do.

I don't know any biker who hasn't at one time or another said "my bike" in reference to his ride.

You're arguing a useless point this time man. You don't park a fucking 700 lb, $20k bike aka: motorcycle on the fucking CURB. I dont' know what backwater turd-hole you're referring to man, but you're killing me with your comments on this.

In Winnipeg you'd watch your bike being hauled away on the ass-end of a tow-truck if you parked it on the curb. :1orglaugh

i saw MrPeers bike as you say and i would not either park it on the curb either, the conversation was basically pointless, i even asked him in one of my first posts if he meant motorcycle and with no response i went on thinking crotch rocket.

now seeing a pic i understand what he is saying.

is that a good enough recap for you?

try to squeeze this in your small brain, please try to.

and in winnipeg is wouldnt get towed away you would have a 17 y/o indian kid stealing it. :1orglaugh

But what a comeback. Takes lots of intelligence instead of arguing the point.

Seriously, is your life so dull and uneventful that your hobby is to find spelling mistakes in peoples posts ?

seriously... does it matter if its a "motorcycle" or "crotch rocket"? either one isn't going to be parked on a curb where its going to get towed... doesn't matter how you class it ...

Wasted words. Dork Jedi simply isn't capable of comprehending the concept you are putting forth. He is too busy feeding his own ego by finding petty little ways of controlling the immediate surroundings in his miniscule world, such as by making people wait extra time simply because they have the temerity to want to park their car.

It's sad, but that's the story of Dork Jedi's life I'm afraid. :1orglaugh

beemk 06-16-2005 12:02 PM

when i go to the mall when its busy i walk down the wrong isle and when they follow me i walk a little ways then cut over to the next isle. whenever i go anywhere i go straight to the back of the parking lot. who wants some idiot hitting your car with their door when they get out of their car anyway. the worst is when you see people at the gym waiting for a parking spot then you see them inside walking on the treadmill.

Getting to the gym 10 minutes later really had no effect on my life.

Don't get worked up over his ignorance. It's people like him that put you bike drivers in danger with attitudes like theirs. Don't expect anything inteligent from someone so ignorant.

I can see from this thread that the number of people who would get up and give their seat on the subway to a little old lady or pregnant woman is few and far between.

What is it you have against children? Are you so bitter that you feel it's perfectly ok to be wreckless around a defenseless child? Were you not loved enough as a child? I feel sorry for someone like you. Honnestly I do, but if someone like you ever hurt my child there would be a whole world of hurt dished out by my hands unto the one who hurts my child.

If you have nothing constructive to say, why don;t you just leave the conversaton, you're not winning over any friends by what you are saying, aside from metaman, but he's a grade "A" idiot anyways so what does it matter.
