Hi Rictor,
Yes that is correct I do have the docs available for download. I have them in directories on my FTP server. Also in the same directories are the new wmv files in 4 speeds. The documentation is free when webmasters upgrade to the wmv files. I understand that there are some out there that feel that I should not be compensated for all the difficult work I have done to make the docs available. There is nothing I can do to change some that have this point of view which I personally feel is not fair to me. So what I am doing is to offer the new wmv files that come in 4 speeds 1.5 mb, 700 kb, 350 kb and 128 kb. I can upgrade all your files and give you all the documentation for just $699.00. It has been a tremendous amout of work to make these docs avaialbe to you and the wmv files are great. To try and make this deal even more fair to you... you do not have to get the same files you bought before. YOu can choose to get the newest files I have for sale. Let me know what you think.. |

So many people came to me saying well I wanna buy your stuff, but SoBe's is cheaper. Even when my stuff was at cutthroat prices to begin with. Again, your loss, it's now gonna cost you more or you'll have to drop the content from your sites. We've offered docs for a long time because I had a feeling when I first heard about this. Fully complaint quality content at ridiculous prices when you buy from us. Who would've thought?? |

Oh, by the way, I saw Joe from AMA post something to the effect that if you bought from SoBe what was originally Joe's, you didn't get the docs either. Joe seemed pretty adimant that it was gonna cost you something if you went to him or SoBe for them. On Joe's end, I don't disagree with him. But on SoBe's end, well he's just a fucktard and what did you expect??

What's really fucked up is that most of the shit people have bought from Sobe was actually amacontent. Content that Sobe sold in violation of his agreement with amacontent.
Now he's charging for someone else's docs, docs that ama would have given you for free had you bought the stuff from him. (Hell he gave me a license to use the stuff I bought from Sobe even though Sobe fucked him over) I made a thread earlier about my new stance on content providers and how the level of cooperation we receive getting our docs together now is directly proportionate to the amount of $$ I'll spend on your content later. I wasn't trying to spam your thread, I was simply stating the plain facts. Let "others" think for themselves before you talk about them and what they might or might not want to do. I'm glad you got the license from Joe. He's a good guy, he's on my Testimonials page saying there's "at least one honest person in Florida". Again, I'm sorry you felt that way. all these content people crying about getting the docs in order being a pain, costly etc etc deserve to take a hit to the wallet for poor record keeping. If they would have kept everything on file to beginw ith there would not have been any issues getting prepared for J23rd.

You know what... despite what shoddy reputation sobe may have, I bought a few movie clips from erik just last week. I got the 2257 docs and I'm having my lawyer go over it to make sure its A-OK for post June 23. I will keep this thread updated on the outcome of this test...
Like others have said, requiring 2257 docs is nothing new and has been around for a few years at least. Only now you need to keep them on file and more in depth infomation about the models... |

One day people will wake up and understand that cheap content is not always as cheap as it seems. It is cheap for a reason, and you get what you pay for. In the long run cheap content will probally cost you more $$$$ (less retention, less signups, less happy customers, etc...)

I don't even know why anyone bought from Sobe knowing that he did that kind of bullshit.. Funny, it's such a HUGE amount of work, he must think people are stupid, other providers all did the same thing and don't charge for the fucking service. Under the new 2257 regs, wouldn't he be liable if he refused to provide documentation to a secondary producer? Fucking idiot.

I upgraded my old shitty MPG formats to the new WMV files and got the docs for free. I am not a cheap ass like most of you and I have no complaints with the service. When I upgraded I got all the docs for the sets that I have bought over the years. Just give it up all you stupid jealous fucks. SoBeGirl is here to stay because he does good business and offers webmasters what they want and need. Not only did I get great content this time but I also get free web hosting with my order. I will be putting all my galleries on a sobegirl server for free. Sucking up his bandwidth and saving the money to buy stuff I like. SoBeGirl content has it's place in this biz as do others. No content provider is perfect but SoBeGirl is one of the best by far. I love the free web hosting they are offering now. I can't wait to get my video galleries up on the Hun and have SoBeGirl pay for all the bandwidth. What a great idea that will save me lots of $$$$$$ |
