The main industry shows I still attend are the AVE (AVN) show in Las Vegas and I usually go to Erotica LA, although I skipped it this year since I had other plans. My growth plan is to double my prices and double my traffic by myself in the next year, so if I went the affiliate route, then I really couldn't double prices again over that, so I would have to at least quadruple my current traffic to make the exact money I project I will make by doing everything by myself. Besides, if it becomes too much work I could probably pay someone to help on the marketing for far less money than I would be paying out to affiliates. Also, it seems like there is a lot of drama in the sponsor/affiliate biz too (shaving and other scams, backstabbing, etc). I'm always open to hear ideas, but for now I haven't heard any reasons compelling enough for me to go the affiliate route.
