Hello folks,

After much debate, and viewing all sides of the issue, we at Duke Dollars have decided on how we will proceed. There are many things about this law that are burdensome, immoral, and just downright unconstitutional, but as of now it's the law.
Being a hardcore sponsor, our content will not sell the same if we are to cut out sexually explicit material. This puts us as program owners between a rock and a hardplace. I have to proceed with what is best for my partners and my affiliates. I am doing this under duress as I am forced to comply with the law as my type of business model/content is useless without sexual explicitness. We are not selling pom pom swinging teens or girls rubbing tanning lotion on themselves on a beach somewhere. We are selling nitty gritty hardcore porn that cant be sold via any other way but with an "in your face method."

Regardless of the moral issues for or against, I am simply following the law.
Here is how we will proceed.

1. We will be offering ID's for sexually explicit material to responsible affiliates.
2. New affiliates will be screened to see if they are infact legitmate before sending out sensitive data.
3. Inactive affiliates or affiliates that are unproductive will not get sensitive information unless they can prove their legitmacy via text links/hosted galleries before I divulge sensitive data.
4. Approved affiliates will be receiving 2257 info between the 15th-22nd of this month.

Many of our models are already aware of these changes. Our release form has always stated that we reserve the right to pass on sensitive information if need be and/or required to. Many of our models are in fact industry girls and have known about this for months already.

That aside, it seems many softcore companies are not giving out ID's. I respect that. I do not know of many hardcore companies that arent giving out ID's. I could be wrong though. But one thing for sure is the two business models differ to a great extent, and this is an enumeration of the fact. It's one thing to cut out, for example, some dildo play when a girl is on the beach and the first 50 photos are her applying tanning oil in the waves, but when your content is hardcore from beggining to the end it is clear that either I do what the law requires or I am out of business. My business model has been very sucessful and if I were to change it my business would suffer. I have to proceed the same way I was up to this point. That means under the new law I am required to give out ID's. As I stated prior, I am doing this under duress; not on my own free will and accord. I do not want to give out ID's but I do not see my business model surviving any other way.

I still see this as putting profits before people. There are several ways you could stay in business, and do quite well without giving out private information on your models/performers to many people who are essentially strangers to you.

For example, you claim to be running a successful program, so hire a few in-house/contract people that will do all your gallery posts, etc., and end your affiliate program. My first responsibility is to my models/performers, not to affiliates. Affiliates can always start pushing softcore sites, penis extenders, and pills, until if and when the law changes.

Hustler and other hardcore sites manage to do quite well with no hardcore in their Guest Tour. Even my one-person operation does quite well without showing hardcore in the Guest Tour.

Well, hopefully your decision will not lead to any models being harmed, abused or worse (I've seen your work - I mean abused more than they are in your videos, j/k).

This is a choice. YOUR choice.

Giving out the personal information (regardless of the quasi-qualification of recipients) is putting your talent (the ones who actually make your money for you) in harms way.

However, given that the nature of the niche in question is all about abuse fantasies (pandering to the date rapist mentality), it stands to reason that this exploitation (not giving a shit about women or their safety - as demonstrated by the decision made here) would find its way to the models in real life as well.

Choices and consequences.

It looks like the 'right wingers' might be right about how they characteristize pornographers as being sleazy bastards who will exploit anything and anyone - as long as they make a buck doing it.

Unless I misunderstood, that IS the rationale being offered here - it's the only way to make a buck (by giving out the model info)?

Good to see someone finally understands that some of the people offering models ids (such as Duke and his extremely hardcore program) really don't have a choice to not offer them.

Like you said, don't hate on the people that are abiding by the law. He is tryinn to make a living to.

I'd just like to add that this was a decision we thought long an hard about. We were in close contact with our attorneys before any decision was made. We spoke about this for quite a while and slept on it for many days... This was our conclusion and we are more than willing to stick to it, continue business as usual and screen affiliates a little closer.

Sure it would be easy to hire in house people to submit, promote, etc... But we have built up a strong affiliate program and I know that we'd have many disappointed affiliates if we closed shop. We love working with our affiliates and we don't wish to end that relationship, so a decision had to be made. Just be assured that we're not giving this sensitive information to any Joe Blow off the street.

Regardless of whether you agree or don't agree, please respect our decision and know that this is not something we decided without plenty of thought. This was a law enacted by the US Government and we are only trying to be compliant. We are each to read the law and come up with our own conclusions...this is ours. While it's the easy thing to point the finger and say that we don't care, you couldn't be further from the truth. Point the finger at the government and their lack of consideration for the models involved in this industry. remember... This effects the male talent just as much as the female pool. There is no easy decision.

FSC is doing that (or trying to) currently. We are members of the FSC. We are doing our part as a company to fight this assanine law, but there is only so much we can do at this time. I can't comment for Duke, but I think that at this time since there has been nothing to base the law on (previous prosecutions, etc), and there aren't a lot of lawyers who would want to be the first to challenge this. The time alone that it would take would halt our business to the point where our productivity would be severly hindered.

As an industry, our only hope would be as KRL said: That we can watch the lawsuits fly, convincing the lawmakers that this law is complete bullshit.

Anyways, this is a hard decision that we had to make. At this time, we found this to be the best way to handle things and until we are told different, our stance will remain as it is.
