I have the answer. Should have gone there first. Sorry. They claim they have no control over the conduct, and each performer is responsible for 2257. All they do is make sure they are over 18. They say they fall in the service provider category. Wonder if that will work?

how would that work when they have affiliates , they require the models to send ID and a pic holding it.
great question Tony. Seems like they would have to release the models info to all affiliates.
Not likely...
Copied from the VCH forum:
"iFriends never has, and never will, disclose a chathost's sensitive personal information to ANYONE, for ANY REASON, unless we are compelled to do so by a court of law (for example, we routinely assist federal and local law-enforcement agencies who are investigating credit-card fraud ... yes, some of the credit-card cheats on iFriends have gone to jail ...)
As to 18-2257, the regulations actually work to further protect and safeguard your own privacy with respect to relationship with iFriends. They are a PLUS, not a negative. The regulations do not go into effect until late June, and we will have information in greater detail for all hosts before then.
But suffice to say, the status quo will PREVAIL, your personal information will continue to be PROTECTED more vigorously than the Gold in Fort Knox, and changes in regulations will have ZERO IMPACT upon your iFriends life. (That's why iFriends is here -- to take care of administrative and record-keeping headaches so you don't have to, and so you don't have to worry about stalkers because your home address is kept under lock and key.)
If you think about it, better recordkeeping regulations are a GOOD thing ... they are designed to target those services that are the *opposite* of iFriends; services with zero record-keeping ... services that let kids on and let kids get naked ... whereas iFriends, with its extensive 18+ ID Card gauntlet, assoicated documentation and proof-of-ages on file for more than 40 millions pictures & movies, is the *example* the government would like to see other services follow.
Stay tuned, we'll have more detailed information available as regulations go into effect in late June. "
Thats a push, service provider, they publish all the content . Its not like its on others servers. Also how could the model be responsible for 2257 when its ifriends broadcasting the images? But then again I cant imagine the amount of man hours it would take for them to get into compliance.
think about it would you hold Yahoo.com resposible for the live video feed that happens every second over there ymsg program? its up to the model or persons to be responsible. trust me they won't get in trouble if that was the case then every web feed on the next would be fucked

It's easy, don't use their nude images. If you want to use their content use non nude images. Ifriends is fine as far as they comply to 2257, but the affiliates who use nude images will be asking for trouble with the new 2257 regs. If you want to use nudity and promote ifriends or any other site for that matter, then buy your own nude content that complies with 2257.
