2257 exempt content --> still required to keep records?
OK, I can't believe what some people are saying:
Even if you have only content that is 2257 exempt, these people are saying that you STILL need to have the 2257 records. I say bollocks. Who is right? |

Keeping good records has always been good business long before 2257 came along.

If you have content that is "Exempt" because of date of production, and you're not the primary producer, you need a notarized letter from the primary producer stating that it is exempt.
So, in a way, yes, you still need to have records. Fun stuff, huh? |

Isn't this concept pretty obvious? The law only applies to certain types of content. Do some of you think that MTV will now have to have 2257 for all of their live spring break coverage? ![]() |

2257 in itself is a record keeping section of the law. If 2257 does not apply to the content your using.................................... finish this statement yourself people.
