Yep, completely destroyed. Even sadder was the fact he wasn't driving when they crashed.

Do you have any idea how hard 100 mph is when you crash? It says more than 100, it probably was 120mph+.

This is exactly how 2 guys I knew where killed instantly in a BMW E46 M3 when they hit a tree in the rain while going 120mph. (aquaplaning + worn rear tires) 3rd guy that was sitting in the back is still in coma after 2 years.

The car doesnt look to have rolled.

A roll cage would ruin a Carrera GT.

The speed alone would probably be fatal.

Cory Rudl has been in the internet marketing game a long time. Although I'm not a fan of self-proclaimed gurus I have no reason not to believe he was. $40 mil is alot, but thats just sales, take off the advertising & affil expenses and its probably a much more reasonable number.

I was reading a few threads on mainstream webmaster board and a lot of people were saying his stuff really helped them actually start making money on the net in the late 90s. Some guy said he bought a program from Rudl to scrape e-mail addresses off usenet for spamming

He was worth that much...not a fabrication. He was close with a friend of mine.

What do you expect to happen when you are driving a race car with an amateur driver? Sucks for them.
