My 10 year high school reunion is next month

I am not sure if I'm going...on the one hand, it just seems like a lifetime ago and I only barely remember those people anyway, but then again, it could be fun. So if I do go, I wonder if I should bring a date, or fly solo in case there are any sexy divorced guys there, haha.

Anyway-any of you guys goto your high school reunions? Any crazy/funny/idiotic stories to share?

My 10 year high school reunion was extremely boring. If your reunion committee doesn't have something worthwhile scheduled, my advice would be to skip it, especially if you have to travel a good distance to attend.

Funny, a ran into a fellow graduate of my HS yesterday on a delivery. Weird when you see a face you knew when you were only a child. I missed out on my 5-year, and I don't think I'll be going to my 10-year either. But I do some times think about girls I wish I had asked out... I have some weird dreams 10 years later.

I don't have to travel; I live just in the next town. *shrug* That's how I imagined it, though-boring and uncomfortable.

If you weren't a social asshat in HS, then I would suggest to go. Had a blast at my 10 year.

LMFAO, no, I wasn't a total failure at the social game. I was friendly with most everybody, but not really tight with any one group. A social butterfly, if you will, haha.

My advice to you is GO... If it sucks oh well. But if it is good and you don't go you can never go back and go.

4 years ago when I went to mine it was great. I look nothing like I did when I was in high school, I was 17 when I graduated so everyone else was 18 or 19 and already really starting to mature. So for me I was the late bloomer. It was worth it just for all the surprised girls. Plus on top of that sharing stories from back then will make you laugh about how retarded you really were in High School, even though you thought you knew everything!

I didn't go to my 10th, 15th, or 20th. Just got a notice a couple weeks ago about a 25th. Have no intentions of going to it either.

I took ROTC all 3 years of high school and it was my social circle. By the time we were seniors there were only 8 of us who had gone through 3 years, so most of my friends were a grade or 2 behind me.

My main friends wouldn't be at any reunions and the few outside of that circle I have any interest in I have kept up with through the years. I have no interest in knowing what happened to the snobby cliques in my other classes

Im still friends with about ten of my high school friends so we all went together with our various dates. I think it would be weird to go with someone you are only recently dating.....it would be better to go with someone you are still friendly with from high school.

The highlights of my reunion were that the Goth girl dyed her hair bleach blonde and became a stripper, the scrawny dude that no one remembered grew about 10 inches and turned into a babe. The skinny chick got a huge boob job and spent the whole night dancing like a whore. There were a LOT of girls who used to be cute that got really frumpy, the mom haircut and sweaters etc.
It was fun, you should go!

this is what i noticed for some fucked up reason, it seems alot of the hotties from high school have let go and look like crap.

where i see some other girls that werent as hot and look absolutley amazing these days, maybe its the fact they got out of high school and finally realised they had potential.

I went to my ten year anniversary about 6 years ago, it was great. I've kept in touch with my good high school friends, but there were a lot of people I was happy to see again.

I had to go, I was the pot head in hs everyone thought would drop out, it was funny seeing the reaction some people I didn't really like had when they asked about my post-secondary education and my job. I have three degrees and I make millions of dollars sitting on my ass watching numbers roll, how about you asshole?
