I have battled this problem for a long ass time, and I was about ready to go mad, but I seen this somewhere and tried it and it DOES work, hon. So give it a shot. I was going to put this in Lensman's thread when I seen it, but it's irrelevant to the issue at hand and I wanted to make sure you seen it. I am not insane, this will help you...... actually I've only used ice to treat burns, but now you've sparked my curiosity so I will probably look that up next time I am hurting somewhere. Thanks Tam.
