I have seen some pretty raunchy advertising in magazines and even some TV shows/commercials. Will producers of mainstream advertising and television/movie content also feel the hit as hard as us?

For example, a sex scene in a movie may be sexually explicit, so will the producer have to include the model info in the credits of the movie?

Or a billboard ad showing something racy and explicit, will there be 2257 required on that ad?

What may be the fallout for mainstream (if any)?

Even if it did apply to them, how hard would it be for Pepsi to get Britney Spear's 2257? It would be easy. These companies, the big movie studios for example, are putting out a very limited amount of product and they do so much paperwork already that their legal department's probably wouldn't even notice the new rules.

Good points, but I am thinking like (using your example) if Poopsi broadcasted a Britney commercial (an explicit one, as most are) on the web, would we see a 2257 link at the bottom of the page? Same thing for CK and Abercrombie and all the rest of the more racy advertisers.

You are right on the legal dept. stuff though, a drop in the bucket to them.

My question, and point I guess, is will the DOJ be just as hard on everyone else? So many people are asking questions about like non-nude and what will apply to those images, etc. and the internet's NN world is very close to or as tame as some mainstream ads I have seen.

I was refering to the "sexually explicit" ads, and there are plenty of them around here in Dayton. Most get taken down by smaller community groups (through public outreach and free-airtime from the local media), but billboards and city papers are hot spots for those types of ads, and not just here in Dayton, Ohio.
