Im a software Engineer. Awhile ago I thought this web application could make money. So I started developing it in my spare time. Over the course of a year the application is close to completion (about 3 weeks away). The problem is that while I think this app can gererate alot of income, I simply do not want to get into the (adult) industry.

About the web application: I will discuss the full details of the app via email. My email account for this is located in my profile. Its not that I think its important to keep it a secret, Its just that potential buyers would prefer this.
This is not a "script". Its a full blown web application and has been written so that it can scale for large amounts of traffic.
Without giving out to much the application has some semblance to social-networking with respect to the adult community.
The owner of the application does not need to provide content. The application facilitates member submissions. Members will have incentive (completely non-monetary) to submit content. The site scales well as the more members you have the more content that is provided. Ofcourse the increasing content fuels more memberships. I will discuss the full business model over via email.

Think of it this way. There are alot of mainstream web applications out right now. Gmail, orkut yahoo360, tribe.net. These applications want mainstream members they do not want to be associated with adult content. IMO there is a big market for a web application that is focused on the adult community. The application is very viral and in my opinion will be a big hit.

The buy it now price is set to$19,500 USD. I most likely will not consider offers that is not close to this, and I reserve the right to change the buy it now price.
For very serious inquires I will be able to arrange a demo in about a couple of weeks.

I will bump this topic periodically over the next few days regardless of the amount of emails that I recieve.

I dont think this offer will appeal to the casual webmaster. This offer is aimed to someone who knows a good opportunity (or not) when he sees one.

No disrespect intended but this type of person would know that there is no such thing as "guaranteed money" in a business venture. And ofcourse adult communities already exist.

Basically it comes down to dollars and cents. IF done RIGHT this could be worth much more than a 20k investement. IF executed right.

I take it you aren't familiar with the high influx of outsourced programmers. Any program you discuss will be duplicated for $500 to $1500 in a matter of weeks. There went that year of work. ;)

This is not how you sell a product around here guy.

You tell us what you have, and people bite.

You don't come in and say "hey, I have an app, I won't say what it is here but I want 19k for it"
