surfersafe.com what should i do ?
I've had surfersafe.com for about 2.5years now, the idea behind it was the
same as internet eraser and EE but in several languages ( which at that time no one else offered ! ) however my programmer was never able to get the software working with foreign language char. so i never properly launched it. Anyway considering my options now... 1. keep it and when i have time to work on it and promote it find a programmer who can do the job. 2. find a partner to help ( possibly programmer ) and finally get it up and running. 3. just sell it (eg. ebay) if i decide to sell what reserve should you put on it? ( there's no income but site would include the domain, design, site translations in German, Japanese, Chinese, French, Spanish, promo material etc. ) |

hmmm, pretty interesting concept. Too bad you ran into programmer issues, but that kind of comes with the territory.
I have not been really impressed with eraser program sales, so I am not really sure how much I personally would be willing to sink into a project like that. Which brings up the logical question, what is the value? Since there is no verifiable income (primarily because there is no income) you pretty much are looking for someone that likes the name, because it has been my experience that it can be difficult to get someone to pay for incomplete programming. It can also be pretty difficult to find a programmer that will take on an incomplete project. That being said, I would start off by probably trying to find a good programmer with vision, that would be interested in entering a partnership with you. |
