Suggest a WYSIWYG HTML Editor please
I`ve been working with a html editor by a russian 'freeware company' for over 2 years now.. but since it does not support the latest html version and some of the new IE "features" I need another one..
they stopped releasing new versions of their editor a month ago unfortunately, oh well what can you expect for free? I dont know anything beside Netscape Composer.. and searching on download sites really got me nowhere. of course they all pretend to be the best, fastest and produce the most compatible html output ![]() thanks in advance Brian ------------------ EraserCash - $45/sign-up, great promotional tools! Homesite or Dreamweaver both have their strengths, but I think Homesite is the best overall general editor.

ok thank you all, especially ludedude
![]() I had some older homesite demo version flying around here and tried it first.. its not real WYSIWYG editor but the previews are hella fast and html output seems good. I`ll try dreamweaver tomorrow and see which 1 is better ![]() ------------------ EraserCash - $45/sign-up, great promotional tools! DW introduces some code errors occasionally.
HomeSite is the best coding tool (IMO) but DW is much faster. |

Why does everyone keep suggesting Dreamweaver as a WYSIWYG solution? It is not. It's HTML up the ass
He was asking for a WYSIWYG solution. Here is a real suggestion. http://www.softpress.com/ |

Ive been trying a new one called Namo it alot like front page but without the BS M$ stuff added It has some cool tools as well.I would say you should have a look if you like wysiwyg style ediors. But Im a raw code type so it back to Homesite for me.

The first Wysiwyg I tried was Adobe Pagemill.
NOT RECOMENDED!!!! I think knowing how to do it in notepad is good, but if i can do it in dreamweaver in 1 tenth the time, call me a newbie. |
