![]() 10,000 custom thumbs to your hosted galleries...FREE!!!
Actually you can make a million thumbs if you have the galleries. Beta testers needed for thumb maker and TGP builder for hosted galleries. This script automatically crawls hosted gallery links and selects thumbnails and then builds a TGP. It then ranks the thumbs by surfer clicks and increases your productivity so you can build more traffic. It re-ranks and rebuilds your site on a time set by you. You can control the size of your thumbs and replace thumbs you don't like and you can add new thumbs automatically at any time and in any spot you choose. Basically all you have to do is copy and paste your gallery URLs into a text area of the script and click "get thumbs". Compare this script to cumus thumbs($385 for one domain)!!! It works on any gallery but I mostly had hosted galleries in mind. No PHP or SQL needed, it runs on the basic server with PERL. Here are two sample sites that currently use this script: http://blackmonsters.com/main.shtml http://asspackers.com/main.shtml Use this link to download the free script for beta testing. http://econfirmpro.com/getthumbs/getthumbsbeta.zip Use this link for more explanation of the script and installation instructions. http://getthumbs.com Please let me know how it works for you and email me here for any support issues: (webmaster at econfirmpro dot com) PS: For those who don't know; I wrote econfirmpro which was the very first TGP email confirmation script on the market. Many webmasters were very happy with that script and I think this new script is of equal or better quality. |

I take no traffic (if you join new sponsors on the links in the script I will recieve credit). This is a beta test to help develop the script further. The quality of the thumbs can be controled by a few factors in the script but you have to actually look at the script first to see that. If it was already perfect then it wouldn't be free...my price as listed on the site is $199. I'm using it and I think it's good but I could use a little more input from others who use it. Click through on my paypal link on econfirmpro and you will see how many qualified buyers(paypal qualified) have already used my scripts. |

The script definitley works or I wouldn't be running it on my sites. The beta testing is to help me improve it and find bugs. I hate to sell something for $200 and have people screaming about bugs. I don't want to be Bill Gates. ![]() |

I just bought a script like this 2 days ago, otherwise I would jump on it.
I'm having problems with my paid script, I may play around with yours while I'm waiting for support. What sold me on the other script was it's use across many domains on the same server. I really wish I had seen this before I shelled out real money ![]() |

That's the kind of feedback I'm looking for. I could certainy add that ability to the script. Let me get more feedback from others and then I can make a list of upgrades that people need the most. If you are having problems with the script you bought then you should try mine because it is written in PERL and does not require SQL or other problematic software. You got nothing to lose and I bet it will be hard to find something else like this that doesn't even skim your traffic. I only hope some beta testers will let me refer then to some new sponsors and it is not manditory. Hmmmm, it would be nice to place a link to getthumbs.com on your site if using it for free but certainly not manditory. |

Each gallery URL must be on a separate line. Paste them in a txt file and make sure then copy them again. Other than that: Check uploaded all files in ASCII(very important) Check file permission set and all folder chmod 777. What does the log file from the script say? |

If all the above checks out then try this:
open getthumbs.cgi in notepad (right click/open with) Go to line 1590 (assuming it will be the same line) and see this code: my $headers = new HTTP::Headers( Accept => "image/*", Referer => $referrer, Connection => Keep-Alive, timeout => 120 ); Now edit this to place double quotes around the other fields just like the "image/*" part. Do not put a comma after "120" and run it again and let me know what happened. |

OK, I edited it to this:
my $headers = new HTTP::Headers( Accept => "image/*", Referer => "$referrer", Connection => "Keep-Alive", timeout => "120" ); and that seemed to do the trick :-) Thanks! |

When thumbnailing in "Smart Crop" mode, it seems to just take the left side of the thumbnail and leaves the right side out. Is there a way to center it?

Smart crop can behave differrently on different sized thumbs but generally is just fine with me. this is kinda complicated math to center it exactly so I will have to work on that for a while. Also, some gallery images will look bad even when cropped in the middle because of the way the pic was cropped origially. That's why I have several way to make the thumb. For now I suggest running as is and then after building the site "redo" the thumbs you don't like using another method. The automatic mode really gets your site up but the webmaster who fine tunes his thumbs using manual mode is going to have the better site; no dout! |

It's actually not needed if you change the password to your script; it's just extra protection. You should be able to just copy one from a protected folder on your server and use the same password. So if your stats are password protected then just copy the htaccess file from your stats directory into the "cgi-bin/getthumbs/" directory. |

Nows here some interesting info for those thinking about the script.
http://asspackers.com/ap_stats.html The link above shows the stats for that domain since 2003. Check it out and see what the script did for this site. Of course I made more traffic trades and such but surely the script must have pushed this site since it did nothing before. I think the site would be twice as good if I installed UCJ!!!!!! |

Your server looks for this to find the path to PERL! The shabang must start in he first byte of the file. Every path to PERL will look like this #!/blah/blahblah/ Don't remove or edit any other code in the program. Also make sure "config.pl" is uploaded. |
