c, only really likes gcc 2.9 not the newest, in fact fbsd 5.3 has too many changes for it imo.. . it would need updated, but 4.10 is the current stable release anyway fbsd 5.x has private exploits and root kits to contend with, so new they are not even public nevermind patched
