I've been thinking of developing a celebrity site but I was wondering if it would be too much trouble because of lawsuits and such...any opinions?

are both pretty big celeb sites.. the first one i know hasn't had any legal problems... i don't know about the second one.... but if they are still up...then i'm sure its fine... i know mrskin has been around for quite some time...

both have legal risk to my knowledge. nudecelebhound has had infringing content posted repeatedly. mrskin gets stalked by norm z.

Yes. We have the exclusive rights for distribution over a computer network of non-physical sales. Redlight Video has the dvd. Our contracts extend into related areas for both of us.

Good question. If you're just using their likeness for commercial reasons, the liability issue is probably quite big. However, if your site is a parody or news/parody/satire site... maybe a differing outcome?
