Celebrity sites = lawsuit?
I've been thinking of developing a celebrity site but I was wondering if it would be too much trouble because of lawsuits and such...any opinions?
|
also...what are some of the successful celebrity sites on the internet?
|
nudecelebhound.com
mrskin.com are both pretty big celeb sites.. the first one i know hasn't had any legal problems... i don't know about the second one.... but if they are still up...then i'm sure its fine... i know mrskin has been around for quite some time... |

Good question. If you're just using their likeness for commercial reasons, the liability issue is probably quite big. However, if your site is a parody or news/parody/satire site... maybe a differing outcome?
