Off hour legal question.
Just curious what you all may think regarding this. I will find out full details tomorrow during regular business hours (better rates) from our attorney.
If you get a judgement against someone like a paysite owner. Do you think you can legally place a lien against their memberbase from places like CCbill? Do you also think you can put a garnishment on their checks from billing processors? Opinions, thoughts?

Well if you can... then the payouts from that CCBill account/processor would have to be against the exact same corporation and/or person that owes you the money. If they have something offshore to receive payouts or another corporation or anything like that, you'll have trouble.

Any other opinions, and what about the lien against their memberbase?

If they were doing their own processing and had their own merchant account you could get a lien on their bank account under some circumstances. Been there done that. Have the t-shirt to prove it. |
