Off hour legal question.

Just curious what you all may think regarding this. I will find out full details tomorrow during regular business hours (better rates) from our attorney.

If you get a judgement against someone like a paysite owner. Do you think you can legally place a lien against their memberbase from places like CCbill?
Do you also think you can put a garnishment on their checks from billing processors?

Opinions, thoughts?

Well if you can... then the payouts from that CCBill account/processor would have to be against the exact same corporation and/or person that owes you the money. If they have something offshore to receive payouts or another corporation or anything like that, you'll have trouble.

Not worried about trouble.
Any other opinions, and what about the lien against their memberbase?

Nope, Nope, Nope and Nope. You will only get a lien towards what that particular company owns. Nothing through a third party.

If they were doing their own processing and had their own merchant account you could get a lien on their bank account under some circumstances.

Been there done that. Have the t-shirt to prove it.

I will let the lawyers figure it all out. Thanks for your thoughts/experiences though jfpdude.
