My goal is to be in a position where my family is well taken care of & have financila security & own my own home & not have to worry about losing anything..I have lost alot in life & now I want it all back..
It would be nice to know that every week a check from recurring sales is on its way to the bank for a few thousand..

It would be nice to not have to slave all day & night & take vacations & travel the world & go to the conventions & have fun & spend more quality time with family & friends..

I'd be happy with this biz if I could earn a minimum of 52K a year.. (More is better)... I would retire after purchasing my own home, a few nice cars I wanted & paid for all the kids college, & have a reserve income of $5 mil..

Like that could actually happen from making porn sites..Ha..

Amp, i agree with you alot and you know we are cool.

But this is it. People that say it is not about the money are kidding themself and blowing smoke. Of course it is about the money. It's always about the money. I dont get up if i dont make money. blue collar workers would not get up and go to work at 4am if it wasnt about the money. I know,I did that, and I said fuck it. I love the adult biz, and I enjoy doing this work, but if i did not make money at it i would turn my back on it.

Life is too fucking short to spend it stuck in some hellish nightmare that you spend 100% of your day wishing you could do something else or be somewhere else... money should not be the motivating factor.

If you don't love what you do... you are not living. You are existing.

Alot of people may say "You are not your job"... and stuff like that... sounds good up front... very self esteem building, feel-good stuff there...

but the truth is, when you are truly doing something you love as a living, you are living it. It's no longer a job. It's your life... and if you can find this... you have succeeded. And the money will be there.

Some people still won't get it... some people will go through their whole lives & never find that. Some simply don't have the courage or drive to go through what it takes to find it, and will always settle for "just getting by", or "I do okay"...

but if you can... if you can find that place that it all comes together for you... everything else around you becomes oh so much sweeter...

When I stand in the middle of the fairway on the 9th hole at the little executive course across the street here, with a 7 iron in my hands and a big ol' sweet cigar... I swear to all that is holy, I have reached Nirvana. It's no longer just golf.

Ahhhh well... you're probably right. It's all just money.

I agree with amp that if you work at a job just for the money then you will never really be good at but unfortunatly our system - capitolism - is based on the beehive mentality. For every person that wil persue what they love and do what they enjoy and be really good at it we need 1000 people that will just get a job and put food on the table. Everyone can't do what they love or our system fails because we need someone to work the assembly lines and do all the worker bee jobs. I'm not saying that you can't have one of those jobs and like it. My brother is a sheetmetal construction worker and he loves it where I would rather chew off my own arm before doing that kind of job. I think the key is figuring out how to be that 1:1000 that gets to do something they like and make money doing it, or being one of the few that makes a ton of money fast and then can retire and do whatever they want.
