I bought two blog names last year and they had no traffic, now without any site on them they are pointed to ppc sponsor, and I am doing about 500 total type ins on them. Sorry I will not say what the names are if anyone is thinking of asking.

Unless it gets typeins domains mean nothing especially in blogs. As long as its brandable/easy to remember it doesn't really matter. Fuck you could register mobileshack.com or shit like that. Doesn't matter.

i don't understand the hooplah about *blog domains...

a good blog thrives on differentiating itself from the market, and building it's own unique brand... hence a typein or keyword domain is only minimally important... it's what you do with it that counts.

Ok lets say someone goes to a technology blog that cover alot of different topics
If you were looking for cell phones and came across your "brand name" and cellphonesblog.com which would you choose? Suppose your "brand name" is not known by that person do you think they will click it?
