a few days ago they still had the best closest location, that was about 100km away from where I live but now its dead on...dammm

A few of them have been about 75 miles out for me in the past but just recently they have been getting it all wrong.
Now 400miles and a different country for me.

On my dialup it gets the wrong state , on cable it gets the wrong country
 *it seems to be the same one as www.geobytes.com , i see that database alot. aac gets fairly close on my dialup but not good on cable. ( strange too because at one time it had the right city , and my i.p. is stable ) I saw another dating site recently that had it bang on , but i cant remember who it was. ( mainstream )

Probably, they get monthly updates (I know we do from MaxMind)...so each month, more IPs are added and you have better accuracy (hopefully). For those who now get towns further away, I guess the update wasn't that accurate for you
