Extreme GeoTargetting in axelcat sig..
 

For the first time ever...a geo-target ad gets my small hometown correct (that means alot)...FUCK I'M SCARED :helpme

Yep. His sig got me too. AdultLocals have mad Geo. Others just get nearby areas or county

a few days ago they still had the best closest location, that was about 100km away from where I live but now its dead on...dammm

still 180 miles off here

He's in the wrong state for me

A few of them have been about 75 miles out for me in the past but just recently they have been getting it all wrong.

Now 400miles and a different country for me.

it's WAY off for me, the db that hits best for where I am to the T is the maxmind db...

I'm pretty sure his sig is using the maxmind db... might be an older db version now though.

Anyway, fuzebox is the genius behind it. He's da bomb when it comes to geo targetting.

I'm in orange county, it says san fransisco.

On my dialup it gets the wrong state , on cable it gets the wrong country :)

*it seems to be the same one as www.geobytes.com , i see that database alot.

aac gets fairly close on my dialup but not good on cable. ( strange too because at one time it had the right city , and my i.p. is stable )

I saw another dating site recently that had it bang on , but i cant remember who it was. ( mainstream )

Probably, they get monthly updates (I know we do from MaxMind)...so each month, more IPs are added and you have better accuracy (hopefully). For those who now get towns further away, I guess the update wasn't that accurate for you :(
