Hi Donny,

I was on a porn site the other day. I'm trying to convince myself
this was due to my fascination with female psychology, but that's a
different story. I was wading through the typical pornographic offal.
Sometimes it's just people being paid to have sex in front of a
camera. Other times it's an exhibitionist tendancy. Many times I can
see the self esteem dripping from the models like so much hot wax.

I'm not in "the industry" and my exposure to nude photography is
limited only to a few amateur sessions. Yet I do know photography in
general. As I was browsing said porn site, I came across a photo set
that happened to be yours. Whatever your theory may be on the beauty
of women, don't abandon it.

You seem to be able to capture the essense of a person in a situation
where this would be almost impossible to a typical photographer. A
model who has never appeared nude before? Taking pictures like these?
Getting people at a wedding to look casual is challenging, let alone a
newbie getting naked.

Your lighting is excellent, the color is fantasic (I think I can tell
the ones taken with the S3, I've got an s7000 with the same sensor)
and the composition, well, that is the best part.

You seem to be suceeding in taking a picture that would normally only
be interesting for it's erotic content - and making it interesting as
a design.

I saw several(many) photos like that. Otherwise ordinary photos are
made compelling in a very artistic way. This is not pornography, this
is art of the highest caliber!

DOMAI has nothing on you. No artist I've ever seen on PBase even
comes close.

Coupling this with your ability to capture the most essential nature
of your models. It... really is amazing.

Maybe you're seeing the women more as real people and less as sexual
objects? Maybe your really good at picking models. I won't venture a
guess.

Of course, you're a professional and don't need to be told any of
this. I'm sure you know it. Nevertheless, even a professional needs
to be appreciated every so often. Particularly in a field that isn't
widely considered an artistic venue.

Thanks for what you have shared on your tech/opinions. Have you ever
considered joining a site like PBase? It's only $23 a year for
unlimited bandwidth and 200MB of space. You could consentrate on
artistic nudes, then link to your paysite. As an active member of the
community I'm sure a good gallery or two would put you in the top 10
on the site. Of course, I'm only telling you this due to a selfish
desire to see your EXIF information.

In any case. I hope you excuse the anonymity. Nobody can foam at the
mouth like this unless under condition of anonymity.
