Let me put in my input and my suggestions.

Option 1: Probably the best option and the way to peacefully get everything finished. After that just never deal with him again.

Option 2: Could cause more drama and legal actions. Expensive and time consuming....

Option 3: May work, but remember he is from Canada so laws are laxed and will be difficult to take on with such a small case....this is from experience with international law.

Option 4: Will never hold up in court and a waste of money...option 4 is not really an option at all.

So thats my input.

Raven was here for the same reason, and from what I've seen of her posts over the years both here and on Cozy Campus she is quite good at it. Take what Content Producer has been saying in these threads with a grain of salt. He does make useful posts, and I like him, but he's clearly showing pure jealousy of another content producer in this thread and the one sonofsam started. If I didn't realize he's just talking from jealousy I'd get really pissed off that another content producer could make such ridiculous posts.

actually content producer has been a friend of mine from the beginning when i started posting here, and helped me with a shitload of newbie questions and has watched me try and work my way up... hes simply being a good friend... a lot of people wont even voice their opinions.. i have respect for someone like him putting himself on the line to defend their opinion

Thanks, CD for the post...I'm not sure where or why the attack came from....I don't recall ever trying to portray myself as an all knowing guru adult master....and, I especially am not up Aaron's ass. We disagree many times.

I am not now or ever would be jealous of AaronM. I am simply stating my opinions. The kid paid a good amount of money (which I am sure is not much to Aaron but everything to sonofsam) and all AaronM can do is bully the kid around. I do think that if it was me that got the content, I would have thrown out the shit sets and called it a day, but that may be because I am 39 years old and experienced and sonofsam is not. He learned a lot from this, he is just trying to make it in the biz, he is not trying to scam anyone.

Since Aaron presently holds your license AND the money you've paid so far, I'd say you better start seeing his side, and fast. There are times in life when you just need to know when to drop your pride and what *you* think is right and just get things solved, and move ON.

My advice is unchanged since yesterday, and it is as sound today as it was then, judging by everything I've read on this thread. That being, I recommend you forward the remainder of the payment Aaron says you owe him, get your license, and get on with it. And maybe, if you can manage not to piss him off any further, maybe, just maybe.... I'm hoping he'll be willing to exchange some of those sets to ones you think are more suitable.

But that last part is iffy.

Now, you guys can continue quibbling and getting nowhere fast (do you enjoy spinning your wheels? I don't), or you can try taking my advice and getting this settled. I am sure if you did so Aaron would become more reasonable as well. Try it.

I simply did not agree with sonofsam's position; as I tried to explain, there comes a point where you do what you have to do to resolve. He did not seem interested in resolution, only who's right and who's wrong; who's biased and who isn't.

There's a difference between helping out someone and completely gloating and insulting. Not once did I insult anyone (until Raven irritated me, which takes a lot) in my quest to help Sam out. I carried myself more proffesionally than that.

This needs to be resolved off the boards because it's over a balance of less than 1k and it's not hurting AaronM at all he'll still sell content bt it may have damaged the new paysite to the tune of lots of affiliates meaning lots of cash.

You seem to think you have a right to tell him what he should like - he dosnt like what Aaron sold him.... It may be the best content and will sell like nothing else, but if he dosnt want it dont try and tell him Aaron is doing him a favor. He is a content producer and not a consultant, he should sell the customer want the customer wants.

A refund or other solution needs to be worked out. Not this arrogant "you will thank me for this" bullshit.
