What % of your traffic is IE, and what % is firefox?
Doesnt matter what kind of site you have but I want to know that the majority still uses IE, please relieve my fear. edit: i love firefox, i piss on IE, but i still want the visitors to use IE ;)

Overall I think I read somewhere that FireFox has taken about 2% of the market. No way in hell I will believe that 22% still use Netscape, i've never seen a number that high. IE remains a good 94-96%

Because as far as my traffic goes, it's 64% IE and the rest are firefox or other, so thats a pretty big number already. Im only getting about 2500 uniques a day though

Thank you for the useful information. It seems Ill be losing out on 20% to 40% of traffic if I do things my way. I guess I'll just have to test trial and error always works for me.

It would be interesting to see if firefox traffic is any different than IE traffic. Firefox users tend to be a little more familiar with technology and internet so I would think they would convert and retain worse than IE traffic.

Wow tranza thanks for that information also, Im sure it will be helpful to others as well. I just cant believe the jump in Firefox. the problem is firefox does not use url encoding so if the person clicks the link he will not get sent to where he should be going so i would be losing out on all firefox traffic.
