Thanks for the reply... what the proof is for me is that every day people will post on here it is their best day ever and the same day others will say it is their worse day ever.

I have always battled with models who worked for me who use to blame why they had a bad night on the fucking football game, or some shit. so hard to untrain people from thinking that way, people by nature dont want to blame themselves so it is easy to blame the weather for a bad sales day. Unfornetly some people who believe this miss the real problems and they lose money. Others take it a step further and start taking days off and working less. I've heard more then a few people say " i going to take most of the summer off, since sales will be down"...

to each his own if anyone wants to think this way.... would be surprised to see a lot of people who actually make a lot of money who buy into this though.

Outside things can definitely have an impact on adult sales. During the NFL season, sales are usually extremely slow between 1pm - 7pm EST, and Superbowl Sunday I had like 2 sales all day. Most of my traffic is from North America which is why, and since the NFL and Porn target the same people, it makes sense. American holidays are usually much slower than normal too.

man this argument brings back memories... hey don't forget monday night that should be bad as well.. and come on not just football .. a lot of people watch baseball and basketball surely those times will be bad too...

Football blows away all of those sports combined, especially since a lot of people get together on Sundays to watch games. Hard to pay for porn and jerk off when you have a living room full of people.

I've had good days when i'm supposed to have bad, like Easter and the past two days (the supposed terrible tax time), so I do agree with a lot of what you're saying, but your'e not going to convince me about the Football argument until I have 1 good Sunday (during 1-7pm est. The sunday night and monday night games are not as bad).

if it is football's fault then why dont you have bad monday nights... ? monday night football is very popular among football fans. There is also sunday night games, so if it is bad stats from football it should carry over till after sunday 11pm est.

let me ask you an honest question, since you have seen this (belive this to be true) do you still work just as hard on sundays during football season.. honestly. ?

You made your case. Let people vent the way they want. I have been watching sales trends for 17 years for all sorts of different products. Everyone tends to have a different opinion on them.

MNF and SNF get a lot of viewers, but I really don't think it comes close to the amount of viewers of 16 games and 32 different fan bases during the 1-7 stretch on Sundays.

And yes, some Sundays I do just as much work as I would do on a Tuesday, but it isn't really relevant since what I do to make most of my sales is not an instant thing. I'm seeing sales on Sunday from work I did on the previous month-previous day, but rarely do I see sales as a direct result from something I did that day.

You know, college football has a lot more viewers and people who go to the games. There are 100+ college football teams that play every saturday and atleast 2 - 3 games at any time on tv from 10am - 10pm (basically). Millions of people pack the stadiums, hundreds of thousands more then those that attend Pro games and the total tv viewing audience for college games is bigger then total pro games. If your sundays are bad from football then your saturdays should be terrible.. is that the case ?
