Running the London Marathon on Sunday... Anyone got any tips? Or desires to run it for me?

Only take in foods/fluids that you're used to!

When I did my first one, at mile 11 my dad gave me a "Gu" packet which I hadn't used before. I didn't take it w/ enough liquid and almost had to stop to throw up because it was like a brick in my stomach!

Good luck!! Marathon's are awesome if the course is interesting enough! Just listen to your body. At some stations I wanted water. At others, I wanted a sports drink (which I normally can't stand). At one point, I would've killed for some ice and wouldn't you know, there was someone down the street giving out ice!! lol

It's this Sunday and you're looking for tips now? Don't people usually train for a year for marathons?
