Director Red Ezra's (http://redezra.com) big movie shot for Metro/Cal Vista ships today called TABOO 21. It's the latest in the long running series of decadence and lust with a strong interracial love story set in 1920's Prohibition Deep South. AVN review AAAA spotlight pick with AVN Awards Pre-Nominations for Best Video Feature and Best Director Red Ezra.

Red Ezra: "What could be more Taboo than mixed race Black/White love affair in the deep south in the 1920's? Maybe an interracial love triangle with a daughter/step-mother maybe? How about a three way anal love triangle? This was my inspiration for making this latest edition of the Taboo series, I wanted to do something really Taboo and not just some cheating housewives angle. Stir up the senses and put the story in an interesting time frame, deliver some serious production value for the viewer. I think the series deserves that kind of attention. I spent a lot of time developing this production from props to wardrobe, location, and most importantly, the cast and story. The girls are all natural, no tatoos. Very important for suspending the belief in the timeline for the 1920's era story. I wrote this story with each cast member specifically in mind, Lauren Phoenix in particular. I had a hunch she would win AVN Female Performer of the Year before we made this movie. She's just that good. Steven St Croix, an amazing talent and a dedicated actor. Steven really brings a lot to the movie earning a Pre-Nom for Best Actor playing the Outlaw Sheriff Dog Wilson. Another AVN Pre-Nom performance is Jennifer Luv for Best Supporting Actress. I wrote an especially sensual scene for her because she just has the most beautiful everything, this girl is so naturally gorgeous. I wanted to give her a strong role to showcase but it turns out that this unfortunately is one of her last performances...she recently retired from the adult business. Barret Blade and Sharon Wild deliver an outstanding acting performance and sex scene together working for the first time. I took a big risk on then really new performer/actor Tyler Knight and I couldn't have been happier with the results. Tyler has it, he really does. He has screen presence and the acting abilities I needed to have for the key role of Big Frank. Tyler really impressed me with his ability to act, do stunts, and perform sexually. I highly recommend this new talent for features, great guy. Bella Starr, a very sexy, long legged and all natural blonde model/actress performs a sizzling girl girl sex scene with Lauren Phoenix down by the old pond in one of the prettiest settings I have ever shot a sex scene. Metro Contract Super Star Ron Jeremy rounds out a perfect cast once again delivering an excellent acting performance for me. Ron is more than a legend in the business, he is the rock I build a lot of great stories around. I can always depend on him to bring more to the story than just an actor saying lines. He just has that Ron Jeremy thing and it's fun."

The Taboo 21 story revolves around the Outlaw Sheriff, Steven St Croix as "Dog" Wilson, and his young and sexually neglected second wife, Sharon Wild, his not-so innocent teen daughter, Lauren Phoenix, and Tyler Knight, the black fix-it man who cant keep his pants on. Set in the deep south of the prohibition years and swimming in Moonshine, Taboo 21 stirs a torrid love story of lust and love where interracial relations just don't happen for a reason, can't happen if you want to live. Lauren Phoenix' character Dorothy is exploring her new found sexuality and it starts a very big, bad news ball rolling for everyone in her world.

I am very happy that the Taboo series is back and I have a place in history with this infamous series.
