Ok...here is my dilemma and the need for everyones input advice...

I have a new link directory setup as two sub-domains each running a market for the gay and straight (separately). The current script I am using is poor quality and I plan on changing it to either the Gossamer-threads or the Xpowerlinks script (both have advantages). For the gossamer, the biggest one is that it takes plugins for ppc, among others. The Xpowerlinks though, does have a nice set of features.

2nd part to my dilemma is that I want to get rid of the 2 sub-domains and run the directory from the parent domain. I have two choices which will depend on what people here think is better. 1st is to integrate both markets (gay and straight) into one single directory like some of the bigger directories online (penisbot, bentlinks, etc). Or, I can run it from the same primary domain, but I would have two separate folders (which means a separate script install for each market) and keeping the markets separated. **I would really prefer to have one link script install rather than two installs for the same domain. But this will depend on everyone's advice here.

3rd part of my dilemma, is that the header design for the directory has pics of models. The current gay one has a male model for the gay directory, and the str8 has a girl model in the header. However, if I go the route of integrating both markets into one single link directory, I would have the header with both a guy and girl model pic in it. So, with this said, if you are a gay guy surfing the gay links, do you think it's much of an issue to see a header/logo with a guy and girl, even though you would only be seeing gay site links on the page?

I am in the process of rebuilding the directory but I want to do this one, right without having to change things again later and disrupt webmasters login accounts and visitors who have bookmarked pages, etc (before it gets more links added). So your advice here is welcomed.
