i ALMOST bought sex.com and business.com in 1994 and ALMOST sold them
for $200,000,000,000 during the .com boom but i didn't have $80 for
registration in 94 so i never bought them.

you gotta admit, it was close though!

let's get real guys.

polish, what domain you got? if its any good i can offer more than $20k.

You would cry to learn about names I turned down because I did not understand domain valuation at the time. Not saying that I do now either but I am learning more everyday.

Now if anyone is up for teaching me how to get more out of my parked names I will pay them

I sold it to elequa, who never sells, but if it were mine still, I wouldn't let it go for less than $50k. Traffic was lousy but it's an absolutely amazing brand.

Originally it was part of Proctor and Gamble's suite of names that were sold off wholesale.

In retrospect, the idea that I paid a grand for thirst.com just blows my mind.

Sadly, selling it for $3k blows my heart.

But seriously, I have nothing to complain about. I'm grateful for the last two or three years especially.

Another big mistake:

Not buying triple.com @ $10k a year ago.

Now it's $20k.

I actually think triple.net is really well priced. A very desirable .net

2 weeks? Well thats not enough time. I lost the love of my life too. After 7 years, I'm barely starting to get over it.
